Landscape Maintenance Gardener

RJS Property Services; fine gardening in Biddeford Pool, ME.

Assistant Gardener to help with tasks such as, install and maintain flowers, trees and green spaces on client properties. *No lawn mowing. Responsibilities include weeding, mulching and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter. You know how; to use and maintain hand tools, including shovel, weeder, rake, and pruners. Track and submit your completed work hours. Ultimately, you will assist in making sure the client's gardens are healthy and beautiful. Responsibilities as directed to do so: Install and maintain seasonal plants, mulch, edge, weed, and stake plants, prune trees, bushes, herbaceous perennials and annuals. Maintain and retain gardening equipment. Keep gardens and green spaces clear of debris and litter

Skills: Experience as a Gardener. Familiarity with landscaping design. Knowledge of regional plant life. Knowledge of local pests. The ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs. The ability to remain on your feet or knees for the duration of the shift. A love of the outdoors and plant life. Season is April-August.
