Landscape Maintenance: Garden Groomer

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable team member to maintain customer's landscaped beds in the bearden & west knoxville area. The ideal candidate will have an interest in horticulture and a strong background in groundskeeping, gardening, or landscape maintenance. This role involves weeding, maintaining garden aesthetics, and minor monitoring of plant health. Also, our ideal candidate will be reliable, communicative, and able to work solo if needed. A current drivers license and dependable transportation are required.

Responsibilities

• Groom outdoor garden beds, mostly weeding, light pruning, 1 hr mowing weekly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance & progress schedules using company field reports.
• Conduct regular assessments of plant health, relaying any issues related to pests or diseases.

Skills

This position requires good physical ability to bend over, get up and down repeatedly, and be able to kneel down. In addition our ideal candidate will also have

• -Familiarity with groundskeeping techniques to maintain clean and attractive landscapes.
• -Excellent verbal & written communication skills for engaging occasionally with customers, collaborating with team members, & completing pre-printed field reports.
• -A responsible history to be able to keep up with small hand tools & bring them to the jobsite when working & dependably work when scheduled.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
