LANDSCAPE LABORER

Job Summary

Duties to performs outdoor landscaping and grounds maintenance work for residential, commercial, or public properties. This position involves physical labor, operation of landscaping tools and equipment, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of landscapes to ensure properties are attractive, healthy, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Mow lawns, trim grass, and edge walkways and driveways.
• Plant, water, weed, and maintain flowers, shrubs, trees, and other vegetation.
• Spread mulch, soil, fertilizer, and other landscaping materials.
• Assist with landscape construction projects, including planting beds, retaining walls, patios, and irrigation systems.
• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters.
• Remove leaves, debris, and litter from properties.
• Load, unload, and transport tools, materials, and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, spring cleanup, and fall leaf collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Previous landscaping or outdoor labor experience is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping tools and equipment.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
