Duties

• Assist in landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor areas healthy and attractive
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for excavation, hardscape installation, or site preparation
• Perform lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, and weed control to ensure lush, thriving turf
• Support tree care efforts including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and aesthetic appeal
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or blockages and making necessary adjustments or repairs
• Contribute to construction projects by assisting with the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, or retaining walls

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and hand tools
• Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is valued
• Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently; experience with excavators or other construction machinery is a plus
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care practices, and irrigation systems is advantageous
