Duties

• Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and wheelbarrows to perform gardening and landscaping tasks
• Maintain lawns through mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing to ensure healthy turf growth
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities like pruning, tree trimming, and shrub shaping to promote plant health and aesthetics
• Use power tools and equipment such as excavators and compactors for hardscape installation and site preparation
• Support irrigation system installation and repairs to ensure efficient watering of landscapes
• Perform snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients

Experience

• Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping or gardening is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for operating equipment like excavators or power tools safely
• Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilizing, aeration, and pest control is advantageous
