Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping activities
• Support the installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures
• Assist with irrigation system installation and maintenance to ensure proper watering of landscapes
• Use excavators and other construction equipment under supervision for site preparation and landscape installation projects

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools effectively
• Familiarity with landscaping construction processes such as hardscape installation and site preparation
• Ability to handle hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools safely and skillfully
• Experience operating excavators or similar machinery is a plus for larger projects
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to perform snow plowing during winter months when necessary
• Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
