Landscape Laborer

Job Summary

Join our team as a Landscape Laborer and play a vital role in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves assisting with a variety of landscaping projects, from planting and lawn care to hardscape installation and tree trimming. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions, contributing to the transformation of landscapes while gaining valuable hands-on experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and design. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to continue developing your skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. Although, we are looking for experienced individuals who can bring their expertise to the table.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation, including planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, and laying hardscape features such as walkways
• Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy turf and vibrant gardens
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for trimming, pruning, digging, and general maintenance tasks
• Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal watering of landscapes
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including weeding and mulching

Skills

• Experience in lawn care, gardening, and landscape maintenance
• Familiarity with tree care techniques including trimming and pruning for health and safety, is a plus
• Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance to support healthy plant growth, is a plus
• Basic understanding of horticulture principles to assist with plant selection and care, is a plus
• Willingness to drive to different locations in the Georgetown area, mostly on weekends, but sometimes have work during the week too, if you’re available. More work if willing to also travel to the San Marcos area.
