Landscape Laborer

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong willingness to learn about various landscaping techniques. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, including lawn care, tree care, and groundskeeping. Duties

• Perform lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
• Assist with tree care including planting, pruning, and trimming.
• Help build and maintain hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct general groundskeeping tasks to ensure properties are well-maintained.
• Participate in landscape maintenance activities including planting flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Operate hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in landscaping or related fields is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in landscaping such as shovels, rakes, and pruners.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
