Landscape Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Landscape Supervisor to lead our team in delivering high-quality landscape services. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising landscape projects, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specifications.
• Oversee lawn care, tree care, and garden maintenance, including planting, pruning, and fertilizing.
• Build and maintain various landscape features such as flower beds, pathways, and retaining walls.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Train new team members on proper landscaping techniques and equipment usage.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping with a focus on lawn care and tree care.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising a team in a landscaping environment.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design practices.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
