About Us

Timber Ridge Outdoor Living is a new design-build division backed by an established West Michigan outdoor services company with nearly 30 years in the industry.

We design and install high-end landscapes, plantings, hardscapes, and outdoor living spaces. Our team has access to in-house bulk materials, nursery stock, hydroseeding, blower truck services, equipment, and experienced installation crews.

That means our designers are not just drawing ideas on paper—they get to help create projects that are actually built from start to finish.

The Role

We are looking for a Landscape Designer who can meet with clients, create attractive and buildable designs, prepare proposals, and help guide projects through installation.

This role is a good fit for someone who understands design, plants, materials, customer service, and real-world construction. Entry-level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do

• Meet with residential and light-commercial clients
• Evaluate site conditions, client goals, drainage, grading, access, and budget
• Create landscape, planting, and hardscape designs
• Prepare renderings, plans, estimates, and proposals
• Present designs and pricing to clients
• Select plant material, hardscape products, mulch, stone, and other materials
• Work with project managers and installation crews to ensure the design is built correctly
• Conduct site visits before, during, and after projects
• Help grow a new design-build division from the ground up

What We're Looking For

• Passion for landscape design and outdoor living spaces
• Knowledge of plant material, hardscapes, drainage, and site grading
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to create realistic designs that can be built profitably
• Experience with SketchUp, Land F/X, Dynascape, AutoCAD, or similar software is a plus
• Valid driver's license
