Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment
• Drive company vehicles to transport materials, plants, equipment, and crew members to job sites efficiently and responsibly (if qualified driver)
• Support landscape construction activities such as hardscape and softscape installation
• Assist with site preparation by using excavators or other machinery for grading, digging trenches for irrigation or drainage systems
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance
• Help with planting trees, shrubs and flowers while following project specifications
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and debris removal at job sites

Qualifications

• Mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping machinery such as excavators or mini skid steers
• Prior experience in landscape build/design
• Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including gardening techniques and tree care practices
• Ability to operate equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
