Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of landscape crew members to complete daily tasks related to landscaping, lawn care, gardening, and construction projects
• Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely project completion
• Perform landscape maintenance activities including pruning, planting, mulching, irrigation system installation and repair, and general garden care
• Oversee tree care operations such as trimming, removal, and health assessments in accordance with safety standards
• Maintain equipment and tools related to landscaping and construction; ensure proper use and safety procedures are followed
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations
• Train team members on best practices in horticulture, irrigation systems, safety protocols, and maintenance techniques

Experience

• Proven supervising experience leading a landscaping or groundskeeping crew
• Strong background in landscape maintenance, gardening, lawn care, and horticulture practices
• Knowledge of construction processes related to outdoor projects such as paving or hardscaping
• Familiarity with tree care techniques and safety procedures for working around trees
• Experience with irrigation systems installation, repair, and maintenance
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
