Ridgeline Landworks is a growing landscape construction and excavation company serving the Roaring Fork Valley. We are looking for an experienced Foreman / Lead Equipment Operator to lead crews, operate heavy equipment, and help deliver high-quality landscape construction and excavation projects.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys running equipment, managing job sites, and producing quality work from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews on landscape construction and excavation projects
• Operate excavators, skid steers, loaders, compactors, and other construction equipment
• Perform site excavation, grading, trenching, and material handling
• Install irrigation systems, drainage systems, and utility trenches
• Oversee planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation
• Read and interpret plans, grades, and project specifications
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, and subcontractors
• Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
• Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site

Qualifications

• 3+ years of landscape construction, excavation, or related construction experience
• Proven experience operating excavators and skid steers
• Previous foreman, crew lead, or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of grading, drainage, irrigation, and planting practices
• Ability to read plans and elevations
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Fine grading and finish work
• Utility trenching and excavation safety
• Compaction and base preparation
• Material import/export and trucking coordination
