Our Public Works department is currently looking for Landscape Architects to fill positions in our Mowing and Landscape Maintenance and Development Services divisions.

This is professional landscape architectural work, which includes analysis, planning, design, preparation of contract documents, design review and monitoring of construction projects in accordance with principles and practices of landscape architecture, project requirements, and City ordinance. Work requires a knowledge of the theories principles and practices of landscape design, construction, and maintenance, Florida plants, tree protection, hardscape design, streetscapes, and site planning gained through a combination of education and experience. May assign, monitor, and oversee the work of assigned personnel. Work requires skills in understanding and influencing others to obtain desired results, to coordinate activities, and to resolve complaints. The work is covered by clearly defined policies and involves a variety of situations requiring use of judgment. The work is performed in an office and field environment.
