Irrigation Technician

Duties

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems including sprinklers, drip lines, valves, and controllers using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation equipment to identify leaks, clogs, or malfunctions and perform timely repairs.
• Adjust watering schedules based on weather conditions, plant needs, and landscape requirements to optimize water efficiency.
• Assist with general landscape maintenance tasks such as lawn care, pruning, planting, and soil preparation to support overall landscape health.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, system layouts, and repair logs for future reference and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with team members on landscape projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with irrigation components such as valves, controllers, emitters, and piping.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, and horticulture principles.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively.
