In a hands-on position, you will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are pristine, safe, and welcoming for visitors and loved ones alike. This role offers an engaging opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing a variety of tools and skills to uphold the highest standards of grounds care.

Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including but not limited to mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to keep grounds attractive and well-kept.
• Operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, lawnmowers, etc., safely and efficiently.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of lawns, trees, and flower beds.
• Conduct routine inspections of the grounds to identify areas needing repair or additional care.
• Assist with cemetery plot preparations, including leveling ground and installing markers or monuments.
• Perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Perform snow removal duties on a seasonal basis if required.
• Occasionally move or lift heavy items.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a respectful attitude towards the solemn environment of the cemetery.
• Perfom other related duties as assigned.
