Irrigation Technician

Overview

We are a fast-growing irrigation company based in Bastrop Texas and we are booked out weeks in advance. We need solid, dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technicians/Irrigators to join our team. The ideal candidate should diagnose and fix systems efficiently without being micromanaged. This role involves installing, maintaining, trouble shooting, and repairing valves, wiring, controllers, and zone issues quickly. The Irrigator/ Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to achieve high-quality results. Pay based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain irrigation systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
• Dig trenches for irrigation lines and build necessary structures for system installation.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify issues or areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while adhering to quality standards.
• Provide recommendations for improvements in irrigation practices based on knowledge and experience.
• Work independently and effectively lead a crew.

Qualifications

• Must have an Irrigator or Technician license.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and other equipment related to irrigation work.
• Ability to dig, build, and install various components of irrigation systems efficiently.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices and garden maintenance techniques is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Have a positive and professional attitude and appearance
