Groundskeeper

Position Purpose & Summary

Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appearance of the resort and villas grounds areas by performing a diverse range of activities involved in grounds maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Mowing trimming and blowing of all turf areas around the resort.
• Planting weeding mulching all flower beds around the resort.
• Sweeps or blows roadside, walkways, parking lots and tennis courts.
• Edging of walkways, flowerbeds, and curbs throughout the property.
• Operate and maintain utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines.
• Deliver "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
• Establish cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

* + Use of many common grounds maintenance power tools including mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc. + Use of hand tools including rakes, brooms, shovels, sod knifes etc. + Power washing all hardscape areas. + Assists with irrigation system repairs and maintenance. + Daily shop upkeep and cleanliness. + Perform any other such duties, as assigned. + Greet every guest, member, and team member with "I Am Proud" standards and set a positive tone for every interaction. + Provide extraordinary service that is "Enriching by Nature." + Embrace, embody, demonstrate, and encourage wellness and the STRATA virtues through interactions, performance, and commitments. * Uphold the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's brand, culture, vision, mission, and values. * Be empowered to make things go right if they go wrong. * Give the guest/member a fond farewell. * Address feedback by utilizing the LEARN Model. * Demonstrate a professional appearance and be attentive to what matters most. * Comply with company policies and procedures. * Observe and adhere to safety guidelines.
