As a Golf Course Irrigation Technician and play a vital role in maintaining the healthy landscapes that defines the golf courses. The individual MUST have at least two (2) years experience with golf course irrigation. Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and repair commercial golf course irrigation systems, including sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and pumps, ensuring consistent watering schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance on irrigation equipment and power tools to maximize operational efficiency.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for system adjustments, repairs, and upgrades.
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and pest control to maintain pristine turf conditions.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues with irrigation components and implement timely solutions to prevent water waste or system failure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience working on golf course irrigation systems.
• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience working on irrigation systems or similar equipment.
• Familiarity with commercial landscaping, lawn care, and general horticulture practices.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment such as excavators.
• Knowledge of irrigation principles, water management, and also landscape maintenance techniques.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints related to irrigation or construction projects.
