Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise landscaping crews on various construction projects, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards are met.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to maintain vibrant and healthy outdoor spaces.
• Identify a wide range of plants, trees, shrubs, and turfgrass to ensure proper care and pest management.
• Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine irrigation maintenance to optimize water efficiency.
• Oversee crew management by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, providing training, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Conduct gardening and horticulture activities that enhance landscape aesthetics and sustainability.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations to maintain a secure work environment for team members.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping, or related outdoor construction fields.
• Demonstrated supervising or team management experience within landscaping or horticulture projects.
• Strong knowledge of plant identification, lawn care techniques, tree care practices, and irrigation management.
• Hands-on experience with construction projects involving landscape installation or renovation.
• Familiarity with gardening tools, equipment operation, and general maintenance procedures.
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Prior experience in crew management with excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively.
