Tree Climber/Pruning Specialist/Arborist

HMD Construction Group is looking for Tree Climber/Pruner/ISA Certified Arborist to join our crew. The Tree Climber/Pruner is responsible for pruning, removal of trees and assisting other crew members with all tasks related to tree removal services.

Requirements

• Knowledge of pruning techniques
• Ability to climb trees, utilizing saddle and rope
• Knowledge of knots and rigging techniques
• Properly and safety operate equipment and tools such as bucket trucks, lifts, chain saws, chipper truck, different hand tools
• Valid Driver License, CDL
• Assisting other crew members with cleaning job site, chipping, driving, dumping and other assignments, as directed by a project manager
• Knowledge of ANSI standards
• More than 50% of current work is prevailing wage
• Non union, no union dues to pay
• Most work performed in NYC, shop is located in NJ
