Tree Care Technician (1 year experience required)

Job Overview

We are seeking a Tree Care Technician. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tree care and landscaping, with experience in climbing and maintaining trees. This role requires an individual to preform or learn the roles of of a tree care teammate. various roles are included but not limited to safely and efficiently climbing to various points in a tree to perform work, preforming ground cleanup with manual tools, operating equipment safely and efficiently, and driving a truck. Class A or B CDL is a plus! As a Tree Care Technician, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes.

Duties

• Cleaning icon site with manual and machine operated equipment
• Perform tree pruning to promote healthy growth and maintain aesthetics.
• Ability to safely and efficiently perform removals.
• Operate bucket trucks and other equipment for safe access to tree canopies.
• Utilize rigging techniques to safely lower branches and sections of trees during removal or trimming.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid Drivers license.
• Ability and willingness to work in various outdoor conditions.
• Driving a truck.
• Assist with grounds cleanup
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
