Tree Care Climber

As a skilled, full-time Arborist/Tree Care Climber, you will report to our Crew Leader, and you will be responsible for performing day-to-day tree care services for our prestigious clients with a commitment to excellence in all areas of tree care. Typical projects include working with equipment and tools to perform trimming, preventative maintenance, removals, climbing, and other necessary landscaping tasks. Tree Climbing and Pruning Safely climb trees using rope-and-saddle, SRT, and/or DRT systems. Perform pruning, thinning, crown cleaning, crown reduction, and clearance pruning according to ANSI A300 standards. Remove dead, diseased, or unsafe limbs to improve tree health and safety.

Tree Removal and Rigging Execute safe and efficient tree removals, including technical removals in confined spaces. Install rigging systems and operate lowering devices to safely control large limbs and wood. Direct ground crew in rope handling and safe drop zones during removals. Equipment Operation and Maintenance Operate and maintain chainsaws, pole saws, rigging equipment, and other arborist tools. Inspect climbing gear and rigging equipment daily for safety compliance. Assist in loading, hauling, and maintaining vehicles, chippers, and jobsite equipment. Safety & Compliance Follow company safety protocols and OSHA/ANSI Z133 standards at all times. Wear and maintain proper PPE while working aloft and on the ground. Identify and report tree hazards and potential risks before and during work.
