Sr. Landscape Laborer

The Sr. Landscape Laborer is responsible for performing a variety of advanced landscape installation and maintenance tasks without direct supervision.

Essential Capabilities

• Perform lawn maintenance duties using large commercial mowing equipment, string trimmers, and gas powered blowers.
• Perform detailed landscape maintenance work such as shrub trimming and hand pruning to an acceptable industry standard.
• Perform landscape installation duties including layout and preparation of landscape beds, planting of trees, shrubs, ornamentals, and flowers to an acceptable industry standard.
• Operate chainsaws safely for minor tree work when needed.
• Operate gas powered snow blower to clear walkways.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Reports to work at the dedicated location and time each day.
• Follows direction from supervisors and management.
• Adhere to all company safety rules and guidelines.
• Strives to improve job skills and develop the potential for advancement.

Requirements

• Two years verifiable landscape company work experience.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Highly motivated individual who is detail oriented.
• Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun fast paced environment.
• Able to work effectively with individuals of varying skill levels and backgrounds.
• Good time management skills.
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Punctual and dependable.
