Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable Landscape Supply Delivery Driver and Penske Rental Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting landscape materials such as soil, mulch, and others to various customer locations/home delivery. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently.

Key Responsibilities Landscape Supply Deliveries

Load and Unload Supplies

• Safely load landscape supplies onto the delivery truck.
• Ensure that all materials are securely packed to prevent damage during transit.

Delivery Execution

• Deliver supplies to customers' homes, businesses, or job sites within the designated delivery area.
• Follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery and obtain customer signatures upon completion.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Perform routine checks and maintenance on the delivery truck.
• Report any mechanical issues to the Manager immediately.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized.

Customer Service

• Interact with customers professionally and courteously.
• Address any questions or concerns from customers during deliveries.
• Provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

Safety Compliance

• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies while driving.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Ensure that safety protocols are followed during loading and unloading processes.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports.
• Complete necessary paperwork for each delivery.
• Communicate with the dispatch team to update delivery status and report any issues.

Key Responsibilities Penske Rental Sales Representative

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate rental vehicles and services.
• Provide detailed information on rental rates, terms, and conditions.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Rental Operations

• Process rental agreements and ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Coordinate vehicle availability and prepare vehicles for rental.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after rentals to ensure quality and safety.
• Manage the return process, including vehicle check-in and damage assessment.

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate records of rental transactions and customer interactions.
• Utilize rental management software to track inventory and manage bookings.
• Handle billing, payments, and other financial transactions related to rentals.
• Prepare reports on rental activity and performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in delivery driving, preferably in the landscaping
• Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
• Skills:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Capable of prolonged periods of standing, walking, and driving.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 per hour
