Landscape Construction Worker

Job Summary

As a Landscape Construction Worker, you'll play a vital role in transforming outdoor spaces into stunning landscapes that enhance the beauty and functionality of properties. We're looking for someone with hands-on hardscape construction experience — pavers, retaining walls, patios — and comfort operating equipment (skid steers, mini excavators, compact track loaders) for site prep and material handling. You'll work alongside a skilled team on both hardscape and softscape installations, bringing projects to life with quality craftsmanship from grading through final planting.

Pay

$18–$25/hour, depending on experience

What you'll do

• Lead and execute hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and paver systems, from layout and base prep through final finish
• Operate equipment (skid steer, mini excavator, compact loader, etc.) safely and efficiently for grading, site prep, and material movement
• Perform standard landscaping tasks such as pruning, mulching, and planting
• Assist with groundwork for tree and brush removal
• Read grade and ensure proper drainage on hardscape and softscape installations
• Use hand tools and power tools correctly and safely
• Collaborate with the team to keep projects on schedule while upholding safety standards

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on hardscape construction experience required — paver patios, retaining walls (segmental or natural stone), walkways
• Equipment operation experience required — skid steer, mini excavator, or similar compact equipment
• Clean and valid driver's license required
• Experience with grading, drainage, planting, mulch, pruning, and tree work is a strong plus
• Knowledge of base prep, compaction, and proper drainage techniques for hardscape work is a plus
