Marina Groundskeeper and maintenance person

Job Summary

Looking for a full time groundskeeper and maintenance person to maintain a large marina.

Duties

• Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control to keep outdoor areas pristine.
• Conduct landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree trimming, and garden upkeep to enhance aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like tractors for construction, hardscape projects, or site improvements.
• Perform general maintenance tasks on facilities and outdoor equipment to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
• Perform basic repairs to docks, plumbing and other structures.
• Pressure washing surfaces.
• Painting structures.

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and landscaping equipment safely.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices.
• Knowledge of construction processes, hardscape installation, and site preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with tree care practices including trimming and health assessment.
• Ability to use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners along with larger machinery like tractors.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
