Duties

• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to ensure lawns and landscapes are pristine and well-maintained
• Operate various landscaping equipment including lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently
• Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, fertilizing, weed control, and irrigation system adjustments
• Assist with hardscape projects like installing patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and basic tree health assessments
• Use excavators and other construction machinery for site preparation or landscape installation projects
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris and ensuring safety standards are met at all times

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate and troubleshoot lawn care and landscaping equipment
• Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators used in construction or landscape projects
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant health care and soil management
• Ability to perform tree trimming, pruning, and general tree care safely and effectively
• Experience with irrigation systems installation or maintenance is a plus
