Duties

• Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to ensure a neat and manicured appearance.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Use hand tools and power equipment for tasks like aerating soil, planting new greenery, or installing hardscape features such as pathways or retaining walls.
• Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues to prevent water waste.
• Conduct tree care activities including trimming, pruning, or removal with appropriate safety measures and equipment like chainsaws or cranes if necessary.
• Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep pathways clear and safe for clients.
• Support construction projects involving landscape installation or hardscape features by operating excavators or other machinery as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
• Mechanical knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and landscaping equipment is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation systems enhances your effectiveness on the job.
