Alex Michael Landscaping has proudly served Marion County and the surrounding areas since 2013. We are a well-established, growing company looking for an experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader to take charge of one of our maintenance trucks and lead a professional crew.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a lawn maintenance crew daily
• Operate and oversee a company maintenance truck and equipment
• Ensure quality workmanship at every property
• Train and motivate crew members
• Communicate professionally with customers when needed
• Complete routes safely and efficiently
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 5 years of professional lawn maintenance experience
• Previous experience leading or supervising a lawn maintenance crew
• Extensive knowledge of:
• Commercial zero-turn mowers
• String trimming
• Edging
• Blowing
• Shrub trimming
• Weed control
• Mulching
• General landscape maintenance
• Valid Florida Driver's License
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in Florida weather
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ability to work well with others and lead by example

Preferred

• Experience with route management
• Knowledge of irrigation troubleshooting
• Experience training employees
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
