Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a small crew of 2–3 employees responsible for maintaining residential estates and landscaped properties. This position requires someone who leads by example, takes pride in quality work, and can ensure all grounds are maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and work alongside a crew of 2–3 grounds maintenance employees.
• Schedule and prioritize daily work assignments.
• Operate and maintain commercial lawn care equipment, including zero-turn mowers, trimmers, edgers, blowers, and other landscape equipment.
• Apply turf protection materials with spray equipment.
• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, weed control, and general landscape maintenance.
• Monitor irrigation systems and report maintenance needs.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
• Train employees on proper equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Communicate with management regarding property needs, equipment repairs, and project progress.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial or estate grounds maintenance.
• Prior supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, and equipment operation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to lead a team with a positive attitude.
