Lawn and Landscape Worker

Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Lawn and Landscape Worker, where your energy and skills will transform outdoor spaces into beautiful, functional environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in various weather conditions, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and passion for horticulture. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining lawns, gardens, and hardscape features while gaining hands-on experience with a variety of tools and equipment. Whether you're trimming trees, installing and updating new landscape designs, or operating power tools, your contributions will help create stunning landscapes that clients love.

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, trimming commercial and residential properties
• Maintain landscape features such as flower beds, shrubs, trees, and hardscape elements like patios and walkways
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely for pruning, trimming, planting, and general maintenance
• Assist with sprinkler repair, and seasonal adjustments to promote optimal water efficiency
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including weed control, mulching, and soil preparation
• Support landscape projects such as installing new mulch, plants or trees. Be able to use multiple tools, and lift at least 50lbs.

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge with familiarity of hand tools and power tools used in landscaping and lawn maintenance
• Experience with lawn care practices including mowing, edging, trimming, and aeration
• A good driving record, 25+ years old a plus, and ability to drive a truck and trailer safely.
• Must be a able to provide documentation and legal forms for tax purposes
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, tree care, planting, and gardening
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is essential
