Landscaping Team Lead

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping operations, including mowing, weeding, pruning, planting, and irrigation.
• Lead and manage a team of crew members, assigning tasks effectively to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Identify plants accurately and provide guidance on best practices to maintain healthy landscapes.
• Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement maintenance schedules to optimize water use.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained in clean and safe working order.

Requirements

• Proven experience in crew supervision, leadership, and mentoring.
• Knowledge of general landscape maintenance, best gardening practices, tree care, and irrigation management.
• Strong communication skills with customers and staff. This includes the ability to coordinate tasks clearly and efficiently, as well as clear meeting the expectations of each customer.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred. Experience safely driving with a trailer is a requirement.
