Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance activities including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive
• Operate hand tools, power tools, irrigation systems, and machinery such as excavators with safety and precision
• Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to ensure proper care and health management
• Manage pest control through pesticide application following safety guidelines and regulations
• Maintain hardscape features like patios, walkways, and retaining walls to enhance landscape aesthetics
• Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote growth and safety

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping and horticulture tasks
• Prior experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Ability to identify common plants, trees, and pests to support plant health management
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and lawn care techniques for comprehensive landscape upkeep
• Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus
