Landscaping Foreman

J&A Landscaping is looking to add an experienced Landscape Foreman to our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, understands the landscaping industry, and can confidently lead a crew while also being capable of performing tasks or completing projects on their own when needed.

This position is for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate should be able to take direction, understand expectations, communicate clearly with the team, and make sure jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities include

• Leading and directing team members on landscape jobs
• Performing landscaping tasks independently when needed
• Working solo on smaller projects or service calls
• Overseeing job quality, efficiency, and cleanliness
• Communicating with ownership, team members, and customers when needed
• Operating lawn and landscape equipment safely and properly
• Assisting with mulch installs, cleanups, shrub trimming, bed maintenance, mowing, edging, trimming, and general property maintenance
• Making sure tools, equipment, and job sites are kept organized
• Helping keep the team moving and productive throughout the day

Ideal candidate should have

• Prior landscaping experience
• Ability to lead others while still working hands-on
• Confidence working by themselves without constant supervision
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• A valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to operate zero-turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other landscape equipment
• A team-first attitude and willingness to work in all aspects of the business
