Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee a landscape maintenance crew and ensure the highest quality of work. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for creating a well maintained landscape environment. This role involves supervising a team, managing landscape maintenance tasks, and ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the satisfaction of our clients.

Duties

• Lead and supervise a team of landscaping crew members in various tasks including lawn care, plant bed maintenance, and light tree maintenance.
• Execute landscape maintenance service reports
• Oversee the proper use of equipment and tools for landscape maintenance duties
• Motivate crew members to use best practices for landscape maintenance techniques.
• Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, making recommendations for improvements or changes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure communities are maintained to the highest standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping or groundskeeping with a focus on landscape maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Knowledge of gardening techniques, tree care practices, and irrigation systems.
• Ability to build effective relationships with team members..
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in maintaining landscapes.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
• A valid driver’s license is required for transporting crew members and equipment to job sites.
