Landscape Technician

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and diligent landscaper to join our small family owned landscaping company. You must be comfortable and have prior experience operating lawn maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.

We are looking for someone who is punctual, can work independently at times, self-motivated, and ambitious!

The duties and responsibilities are as follows: - Mow grass and prune trees and shrubs - Maintain existing landscaping design and ensure plant health and survival - Plant new flowers, bushes, plants, and shrubs - Rake leaves and debris - Properly store and handle all equipment, tools, sprinklers, etc.

The requirements and qualifications are as follows: - High school degree or equivalent - At least 18 years old with a VALID driver’s license - Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping is preferred - Must know how to operate lawn maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, blowers, string trimmers, and hedge trimmers

Benefits and pay for the position: - Pay starting at $20.00/hour but may be higher based on experience

- 80 hours of paid vacation at 1 year
