Landscape Technician

Top level Commercial Real Estate/Property Management/Construction firm in New Mexico is seeking outstanding applicants for a Landscape Technician in Albuquerque.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Prior landscape experience.
• Knowledge of plants, insects, and landscape terminology.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license, and must have a clean driving record for at least five years (to be eligible for driver position).
• Ability to work effectively and in a cohesive team atmosphere with all areas.
• Must comply to work in a safety aware environment.
• Ability to communicate with clients and supervisors is required.
• Conform to dress and safety policies.
• Ability to complete all necessary paperwork – work orders, time sheets, various inspection reports, etc.

Essential Functions

.

• Maintain grounds of property using hand and/or power tools and/or equipment.
• Perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to: mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, fertilizing, pruning, raking, gathering, and removing litter.
• Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, pushing, and climbing all day.
• Lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds; repeatedly carry 35-50 pounds.

Work Environment

The employee will be expected to work outside in various weather conditions and must have suitable clothing conducive to the work environment.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

1. The employee must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The employee must also be able to repeatedly carry 35-50 pounds.

2. The employee must have the ability to work outdoors in temperatures from over 110 degrees in the summer to below freezing in the winter.
