Landscape Team Leader

Helpful skill and job requirements

Interact with clients, answer client questions.

Communicate client concerns with management. Make recommendations on job status, and highlight personnel concerns.

Plan and organize the job at hand, Ensure that materials and resources are available. Make sure the job is complete in the most time efficient manner.

Proficient in operating Bobcats, mini-excavator, mini skid steer, tillers, weed-eaters, chain saws and other power tools.

Maintain a clean work area and equipment and operate all equipment in a safe manner.

Manage a crew of two people and handle personnel issues.

Perform planting and other related activities.

Grading and base prep.

Knowledge of hardscape installation.

Available to assist with snow and ice management

Available to work extended hours during peak season. (half days on Saturday no Sunday work)

Qualifications

Experience in the landscape or nursery field

Has knowledge of planting techniques

Has knowledge of hardscape installation techniques.

Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills, job planning skills, and mechanical aptitude

Proficiently operate a truck and trailer.

Ability to think and problem solve.

Valid Indiana driver license with a good driving record.

Compensation for candidates who meet the requirements

$65-75k/per year.
