Landscape supervisor and laborers

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscape Supervisor and Laborer to join our team. This position involves a variety of tasks related to landscape maintenance, ensuring that outdoor spaces are well-kept and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening and groundskeeping, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Pay is based on experience. Supervisor must have clean drivers license

Duties

• Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Assist in the installation and care of plants, trees, and shrubs.
• Irrigate landscapes effectively to promote healthy growth.
• Build and maintain garden beds, pathways, and other landscape features.
• Supervise and lead small teams during various landscaping projects.
• Conduct regular inspections of landscaped areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
• Follow safety protocols while performing tasks to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance or gardening is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of tree care practices is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
• Leadership skills with experience supervising others is advantageous.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems is beneficial.
• Supervisor must have a clean drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
