Landscape Maintenance Crew Member

Summary Description

Maintenance Crew Members are responsible for providing weekly maintenance service alongside a Maintenance Crew Leader. A Maintenance Crew Member performs the tasks necessary to provide the best landscape maintenance service in an effective and professional manner. This includes, but is not limited to: mowing, edging, pruning, bed monitoring, and blowing.

Specific Responsibilities

• Mow, blow, edge, prune, and bed monitoring
• Stake and prune vines
• Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, etc. for small jobs
• Apply granular chemicals after proper training
• Understand basic fertilizer application techniques
• Have a general understanding of irrigation
• Identify frequently used plants, common weeds and pests
• Make sure customer request are communicated to the Maintenance Crew Leader
• Be responsible for truck inventory
• Identify broken, poorly running, or misused equipment
• Know and be able to use the following tools and equipment:

+ Navigator + 36” + 21” + Weed Eater + Trimmer + Long Sheers + Short Sheers + Blower
