Duties

• Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy growth and aesthetic appeal.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision for tasks like digging, grading, and installing hardscape features.
• Support tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and planting to promote safety and beauty.
• Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting for leaks or malfunctions and performing basic repairs.
• Prepare sites for construction or landscaping projects by clearing debris, grading soil, and setting up necessary equipment.
• Perform seasonal duties such as snow plowing or removal to keep properties safe and accessible during winter months.
• Follow safety protocols diligently while handling tools and equipment to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators are preferred.
• Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is highly desirable.
• Construction experience or background in landscaping projects will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of tree care practices including trimming and planting is a plus.
