Landscape Laborer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Highly experienced landscape crew member to maintain and detail landscapes. Applicants must have at least 4-5 years of experience in running lawn mowers, line trimmers, edger’s and have an overall general knowledge of equipment. Must have knowledge in new landscaping installs and landscape maintenance. Immediate hire if qualified. Pay rate is based on experience

Responsibilities

• Design, plant, and maintain diverse garden beds, lawns, and landscape features using a variety of hand tools and power tools
• Implement irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency for all plantings
• Manage greenhouse operations including planting, transplanting, and monitoring plant health
• Conduct regular lawn care activities such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to promote healthy turf growth
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including pruning, mulching, weeding, and pest control to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
• Oversee growing processes for flowers, shrubs, vegetables, and other plants by applying horticultural best practices
• Utilize farming techniques where applicable to support sustainable cultivation efforts
• Maintain detailed records of planting schedules, growth progress, and maintenance activities to ensure quality standards are met

Qualifications

• Proven experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance with a strong understanding of plant care principles
• Familiarity with irrigation systems and greenhouse operations is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with lawn care equipment and power tools is essential
• Knowledge of growing techniques for various plants including flowers, shrubs, vegetables, and turfgrass
• Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently in outdoor environments
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping and planning
