Duties

• Assist with landscape installation including planting, sod laying, and hardscape construction such as patios and walkways
• Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks like mowing, trimming, pruning trees, and shrubbery care
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out various landscaping activities
• Support irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure healthy plant growth
• Use excavators and other construction equipment for site preparation and grading tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of work sites by removing debris, leaves, and snow plowing when necessary
• Conduct routine tree care including trimming, pruning, and health assessments to promote safety and growth

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping machinery and tools effectively
• Experience with lawn care practices such as mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest control
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance techniques including irrigation systems and gardening practices
• Proficiency with hand tools (shovels, rakes, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) for efficient work execution
