Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscape crews, ensuring efficient completion of projects related to landscaping, lawn care, irrigation, and garden maintenance
• Oversee landscape construction projects, including planting, tree care, hardscaping, and installation of irrigation systems
• Maintain high standards of landscape maintenance by inspecting work quality and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
• Provide hands-on guidance in gardening practices, horticulture techniques, and general land management to team members
• Schedule and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines while managing resources effectively
• Communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure project specifications are met and expectations are exceeded
• Lead safety meetings and enforce compliance with all health and safety regulations on-site

Experience

• Proven supervising experience in landscape maintenance or landscaping projects
• Strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and tree care
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with construction processes related to outdoor environments
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
