Job Overview

Green Diamond Landscaping is seeking an experienced Landscape Estimator to prepare accurate, timely, and competitive cost estimates for Commercial / High-End Residential landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in green industry practices, reading blueprints, and structural landscaping components (hardscapes, irrigation, planting).

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret technical landscape construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine material requirements and scope of work.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for landscape projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Manage project budgets by monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to financial targets.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, verify measurements, and gather data necessary for precise estimating.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing projects as a construction estimator within the landscaping or general construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawing review, cost management, and estimating construction project budgets.
• Construction site experience that provides practical understanding of on-the-ground project execution.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
