Landscape Designer

## Job Summary We are seeking an entry level Landscape Designer to join our team and grow with our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and functional outdoor spaces. In addition the candidate should have basic knowledge of CAD (or similar software including 3D) and Florida horticulture (or willingness to learn).

## Duties - Utilize planning software for drafting and design purpose

- Collaborate with clients to understand landscaping needs

- Assist with detailed landscape drawings and material procurement

- Conduct onsite visits to projects throughout their progression to ensure design vision is being achieved and quality of work is achieved

- Illustrate concepts clearly with drawings and communication

- Ensure projects are environmentally friendly

- Develop relationships with key clients/subcontractors

• Become a FNGLA certified horticultural professional within 12 months of hire date (company will pay costs associated)
• Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in landscape design

## Requirements - Basic knowledge of software tool CAD is a plus - Basic understanding of landscape design principles and techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and travel within the state up to 25% - Knowledge of Florida Horticulture is a plus

- Hours ~ 7:30am-4pm

Pay: $48,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
