: Landscape Crew Member Location: Rocky Gardens Landscape Group, LLC - Beloit, Ohio Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Landscape Crew Member is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and beautification of outdoor spaces. This position involves performing a variety of landscaping tasks including planting, mulching, weeding, trimming, and maintaining landscaping equipment. The Crew Member will work as part of a team to ensure high-quality results for residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and other plants as directed.
• Clean up, edging, and mulching of landscape beds.
• Prune and trim trees, shrubs, and bushes.
• Maintain and clean tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Assist with the installation of hardscaping elements such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Rake leaves and remove debris from lawns, flower beds, and garden areas.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding work progress and any issues encountered.
• Assist with snow removal and other seasonal services as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment and tools (e.g., mowers, trimmers, blowers).
• Knowledge of plant care and horticultural practices.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license (required).

Compensation

: Hourly wage based on experience and starts at $16-$21 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and performance-based incentive bonuses.
