Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor spaces
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
• Assist with installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction elements
• Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine irrigation system maintenance
• Identify different plant species and provide basic plant care to promote healthy growth
• Conduct tree trimming and pruning to maintain safety and aesthetics
• Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge and experience operating equipment like excavators and other construction machinery
• Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, and horticulture principles
• Ability to identify plants, trees, pests, and diseases to support healthy landscape development
• Knowledge of pesticide management for safe application and environmental compliance
• Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, repair, and troubleshooting
