We are seeking to grow our team with an experienced landscape crew leader who has the skills, knowledge and attitude to perform up to the standards of our discriminating clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews of typically two to five landscape technicians
• Execute design installation plans and follow other instructions
• Operate equipment such as edgers, gas shears, skid steers, etc.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and labor
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients
• Maintain positive attitude and uphold Shaffer Landscapes culture

Requirements

• 10+ years landscaping, plus demonstrated leadership
• Knowledgeable about plants and landscaping (degree preferred)
• Pesticide applicator certification
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs and perform other physically-demanding tasks
• Comfortable operating trucks with trailers (non-CDL) and other equipment
• Valid driver’s license
